Philippine Watch Launched
Description
The Philippine Watch website is now open to receive any reports about any event happening around the country. Using the crowdmap website as its host website, The Philippine Watch allows any ordinary Juan De La Cruz to be a reporter and see their reports posted for everyone to see. With an interactive map, readers can click on any part of the Philippines and read reports written and submitted by anyone. Reports include Festival events, school affairs and Political events. Reporters can even submit reports on disasters and help identify location and nature of the disaster.

Since the reporters are not filtered, it is expected that not every one are journalists by nature. It is important therefore for both reader and reporter to always validate the reports.

In the report form, reporters are encouraged to attach a link to the news source and/or an unaltered picture taken originally by the reporter to add credibility to the report. It is also required to add the location of the event or at least where the report was filed.

Help us make the Philippine Watch your major source of news and current events by the Filipino for every Filipino.
